I am looking to take my nephew out for his first fishing trip. I have a boat and was thinking Hagg Lake as it is relatively close to his house and could make a short trip to keep interest level up. Any reports would be appreciated.
I fished Hagg last Saturday morning. The 2 of us caught 2 trout (9" & 10") trolling using green wedding ring tipped with worm, & lost a few too. The best fishing for us was still fishing with green powerbait. We caught 3 nice trout (10", 14", & 18").
