Wells aren't the answer. Two seasons ago, when the lake water was shut off, large farms drilled wells and pumped down the aquifer so far that close to 100 homes lost their domestic wells. Idling land will help some.

No mater what's done in the Klamath Basin 70 degree water won't help the fish below Irongate Dam. They'd be better off puting the well water in the canyon.
