Adelphia Cable Internet

Was wondering if any one that has adelphia has noticed a significant speed increase.For the last few months my download speeds have at peak times been dial-up slow. It got bad enough that they sent a tech to my home to check it out last week.The tech informed me that they were upgrading the lines through california instead of san antonio and it would be a few days.And as of friday the speeds have been unbelievable, i was wondering if anyone has had the same experience.

I would agree with you that the speeds have been picking up. About two or three months ago I was very dissatisfied with their service (as far as cable goes). It didn't help that they inadvertantly cut me off on a Friday and I did not restore service until late Monday.

Being down that long would be irritating. On broadbandreports website some one said that the longview area was fixed i guess re-routed, lets hope it lasts.
