Default Paulina 5/31

We were planning on hitting crescent and odell on Saturday. My folks were in town for the weekend and my dad was excited to get out. Well sometime Friday night a stomach bug hit. It got all of us. Daughter, Wife, Mom, Dad and myself. What a bummer. All of us down and out Saturday. I started recovering Sat night and was up and at them today. Dad was still a little slow but rallied to call of fishing.

Left the house around noon and hit Paulina about 1 pm. It was nice to go today because my daughter was able to go along. Docks still out, makes it a pain to launch a glass boat and get the driver back on board. Hope they get them in soon. Started out with my daughter banging a couple back to back on a crappie jig and dodger. that was the hot ticket for a while. Then dodger and spinner made up the slack. All pretty shallow 15' and one rod longlining. back to the launch at around 4:45 with 3 man limit. 10-12" fish, can't wait to get back at it again.

Good to see your report chukardave1. Sure hope everyone is feeling better.
Yep, what's up with the dock this year? Usually it's in by Memorial Day Weekend. I guess Hoodoo Recreation took over the campgrounds from the Forest Service this year...

Yup, glad everybody's on the mend! Thanks, be up in two weeks, can't wait, Paulina has the finest kokanee the state has to offer (color and taste), well never had a bad one from anywhere, but they sure are red and extra yummy!

There were a few snow free camp sites last time I was up there on 5/27. That was also the day the camp host moved his trailer in. I noticed alot of small trees down from the snow pack that need to be cleared. I think your best bet to check for camp site availability is to contact Hoodoo.
The Forest Service still deals with the dock which will be going in by 6/6 according to Hoodoo Recreation Services.
