Re: how big??
Well with the arm put out for the camera like bill dance, would do " thats a shore nuff gooden" Ill put that fish at an easy 7lbs with 7.5lbs being two or three ounces off give or take ! Very nice green 1.
Ill also go as far as to say it was probably caught on a reaction bait?

Re: how big??
Twothirteen was closest! Hit it right on the head. She went 4lb 6oz. I guess you could call it camera tricks with the Al Lindner pose. Except in this case its a not a "premier walleye". hehe. Caught off a weed bed on a jig. Thanks for playin! Have to play again soon.

not trying to mislead. nothin wrong with showing off the fish. same as sitting behind a set of horns. it doesn't make it any bigger but makes for a better picture.

I'll go head and claim that first fish, that was a good day at the ol' honey hole. I'll have to guess that Matt's fish is about 6lb 9oz. she's a big'n

Long enough to go 5lbs during pre spawn, but skinny enough to go 3lbs on a shorter fish.
I split the difference at about 4lbs 1oz.

You have the right idea... and the reason I posted this pic.
This girl was about 21" long and weighted in at 2lbs 8oz
This fish defines post spawn.... skinny, beat up, and well, really ugly.
Caught her where we had been catching 4lbs fish moving up to spawn just a couple weeks prior. She had done her business and now was moving back to deep water. The picture does not do justice on how long this fish really was, but we wanted to get her back in the water, so we just grabbed a quick pic.
During the fight, when I first got a glimpse of her in the water, I thought it was a 5lbs fish....
Thought it was an interesting picture, and really shows how much these fish go through during the spawn.
Who has the next pic?

Re: how big??
1big fish nailed it . 4lb on the money. Did you go back a few years and look at my old post, or did you just nail it? This fish was caught on the Snake River in late July. We were catching tons of little fish, and I skipped my topwater bait up inside a culvert. I popped it a couple of times and let the current suck it out of the culvert. As soon as it cleared the culvert this bad boy nailed it. I sure wish I could have caught this fish in the spring.

Re: how big??
Looks like you spend a fair amount of time over in cental Oregon for you bass fishing. Is that correct? Looking at the scennary in your pictures, other than the pic from Dorena, it looks like you are East. Nice fish again. I would guess 6lb

Re: how big??
I think CDreiX is pretty close on the weight. Nice long fish but no girth during the summer. Still it is a really nice fish.

Dreix is correct... what a cheater! or should I say cheeto? haha I'll have to find a picture with a little more mystery surrounding its origins.

Re: how big??
Considering the downward angle, which would tend to make the fish look smaller, I would say 3 lbs.
