Wickiup vs Odell

I had the itch for the taste of koks and left Wensday after work, and had the pleasure of camping with Aufish101 again, and getting some more schooling, this time he left the downrigger off. Too much abuse I think Thursday I went with the tubes that worked three weeks ago Chartreuse and had 5-6 drive buys should have had bigger hooks! Landed 5 by the end of the day, 2 on the same color and a few on different combos, worked hard for the three on Friday and couldn't take the little action and lots of bugs anymore, needed some jigging time so headed for Odell Saturday to try some new jigs, and backtrolling caught a few and headed home, needed some rest after all the kaoise in camp and some Redneck brought a Jack A$$, too much fun and too many bugs to clean for next weekend. Included is a picture comparing the fish from the two places. Where to go next week end? Maybe Crescent?

Crescent fish seem to be in between in size. I may see you there next weekend. A split day for macks/kokes appeals to me very much.

There was a great article in the Bend Bulletin today on Odell Mackinaw fishing. Seemed to be fairly informative, especially to me because I have never been Mackinaw fishing before. Thinking about heading up to Wickiup or Odell this weekend.
