yeah it can be kinda spotty some times, especially if the weather gets warm. the kokes tend to go pretty deep when the weather warms up. try trolling deeper in the channels.

I'm thinking about heading up to Wickiup on Saturday. Anybody have any luck the last couple days up there? I am kind of new to the Cascade Lakes area for fishing any newbie tips?

Thanks.

My advise is not to go to wickiup!!! Head to Lava witch is just up the road from Wickiup, or Crescent. They are both real easy to fish. Lava is doing great for trout. The light green power bait seems to be best. And as for Crescent trolling the west end is the thing to do. Feel free to PM me if you need some more info! Good luck!!

It does typically slow down when the water warms and the level drops. I have had some good days in June and in August, but it is always more challenging.

Wickiup is still slow. I got a report this morning from some friends and the morning was very very slow. The fish still are not school up. They are scattered and shallow.
