Shots fired on the Kilchis
Just got off the phone with 911.
There is a truck parked on the other side of the river, with a guy running up the road either firing, or a guy firing at him with a high powered rifle.
SCARY!
This seems to be a popular crime spot here!
I'll keep you updated.
I called 911, and Bill went to meet the cops.

Re: Shots fired on the Kilchis
Sherrif reports that there may be an elk season going on up here?
Funny thing is, though, that he shot from the truck. That is illegal, right? Road hunting?

From or across a road is definitely illegal.

Tillamook County has already had more than it's share of time in the news lately. You be careful out there.

Re: Shots fired on the Kilchis
If you have a "Disabilities Permit" you can legally shoot from your rig, but you say that there is running involved, doesn't sound like a disability permit would apply. OH wait maybe mentally disabled?
Either way that sounds a little scary.
GOT KEVLAR?

Re: Shots fired on the Kilchis
I'm so sorry. I'm moving this to life in general. I thought that is where I posted this, but then I looked for it, and it's here.
OOPS!

Re: Shots fired on the Kilchis
We'll probably never hear what happened. Tillamook is really strange bout what they report in the paper.
That time that they pushed the cars over the cliff across the river, we never read about it in the news at all. ?? Isn't that strange?
I mean, it was a stolen car, and no news???
Isn't there some way I can find out what is happening in my neck of the woods?
