I got this from a drug reform political mailing list, and it's pretty well done. It is a history of the war on drugs in America, cast in the form of Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol." You page through it by hitting the "next" button on the upper right.

I hope you'll find it thought provoking. Some will find it hard to accept, but based on my overall readings on the subject, the history is quite sound.

You can find the source materials on most of the citations at The Shaffer Library of Drug Policy

I've done quite a bit of research on the topic. You can count on all of the historical information, particularly the legislative history. That information is from the congressional record, and has been widely cited in sources including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and National Review.
