We managed 40 bass biggest was 4 pounds
Did a guide trip for a friend. Gave him first shot at the fish all day. He is just learning and had four bass under his belt this year (with my help). So I got him out in my other boat. He started out tossing a crank bait and hooked and lost a few bass. So we changed over to a 3 inch senko and he was into the fish. He ended up with 15. I was batting clean up and got 25 smallmouth bass. Ok here is a tip for you, smallmouth love to make nests in downed trees. So I told him that and he cast right next to the trunk of a small downed tree and pow he set the hook on a 4 pound smally. I moved us out into open water and he played the fish to perfection on 6 pound test. That day was the best day of fishing he ever had with numbers and size. I did some exploring and picked up 6 more two days later from spots I have never fished before.
staying home to let my sore wrist heal up (lucky fish! )
Roger

Let's play nice. I'm sure a simple PM to a newbie would suffice.

You have been on this site long enough to see these guys pop up..... anyone whose first two posts are the ones above wont be around long enough to justify sending a PM to IMHO.

Re: We managed 40 bass biggest was 4 pounds
I will post a photo next week, its on his camera. You ever try setting the hook with your OTHER hand? The wrist is coming along nicely and will be back on the water three days next week. I have about 10 more spots to try out this week or maybe two weeks.
Roger
If they like photos here is one to hold them over till I get the last one up on line.
That was a nice bass you had in the sink X.

Hi Roger,
Beautiful fish - as always!! Can expect no less from you!
Even better is your nice reply. It's refreshing that you can play well with others, helps to encourage people to post and reply.
Keep fishing!!
Theresa
