One of the great things about this forum is that people from many different backgrounds, beliefs, and ideologies can get together and discuss things that aren't quite fishing-related. Sometimes the discussions get heated, as many of us feel very strongly about how we feel.
In order to keep things as civil as possible, let me please suggest a couple of things that will help you in delivering your opinion:
1) Debate the message, and not the person delivering said message. Character attacks are immature, a sign of great mental weakness, and will likely earn Pete's "undivided attention". NOBODY wants that.
2) Don't make assumptions or stereotypes about people you don't know, especially the folks posting here. Just because they don't like Bush doesn't mean that they liked Clinton. Just because they are out marching against the war doesn't mean that they're a bunch of pot-smoking, unshaven, dredlock-wearing, cause-of-the-moment, bleeding-heart liberals. And just because you don't agree with me doesn't make you completely wrong.
Seeing people get attacked, ridiculed, and stereotyped simply based on what they say or how they feel is very disappointing. If that's all you have to bring to the table, then don't even bring it.
