Default 10 Anniversary and MY Fantastic Wife

Well we have been married Ten years today and I have the greatest wife there is. She has been through so much with me and has never complained or wavered a moment in her love or support for me.
We got married and had a good year before things started on me.
She has seen me through 4 surgeries and a 7 year debilitating illness.
Then I go and crash a boat and all she cared about, was everyone OK.
She does not fish, or hunt but supports me in what I like to do.
Like I said we have been through a lot but we love each other and with God's help we will get to have some good times ahead.
I tell her I love her everytime I get the chance and I wish I could do more for her.
Am I the luckiest guy around or whart?

I think were all lucky to have wives like ours. Each and everyone of us.

It took me awhile to find a good one. I try and let her know how lucky I am everyday.

I've only had the one, and feel pretty damn lucky to have her. Friend after friend of mine reminds me that I have the best fishing wife on the planet. And she's cute, too.

Everyones wife is the best wife. I think everyone should think that way. That's why I said mine is the best.
Like the time I lost my anchor, she broght another one to us so we did not have to come home. Or the time I forgot my net. She broght it to us while we were still on the river. She went with us so I can get an extra 10 lbs of smelt. (she doesn't care for them)
See what I meen after all the things we have been through she still does all these things and more for me. I am a very lucky man.
Silver Hilton congrats on the 20 years.

Sturgeon Tom:

My beloved has 20-plus years of putting up with "the likes of me," but you've just raised the bar:

An additional 10 pounds of smelt?!

We are not worthy.

I've got a little over 8 years on this model, and for the life of me I can't figure out why she keeps me around. Must be the ears. My mug lends truth the phrase that "Love is Blind".

Christine is the best wife I could ever hope for, and the best mother for our children. I'm not worthy!!!

Sturgeon Tom...you definitely have a keeper! And anyone who's been out fishing with Tom knows how much he appreciates her! Wish I had a nickel for every time I've been fishing with Tom and heard the nice things he says to his wife when they touch base by cell phone! They're a lucky couple.

My husband and I have been married for 35 years this June. We were just children when we married, I was 18 and he was 17! We have been best friends for even longer than that! I didn't mind him fishing with his buddies for years, but then he got me to go with him a couple of years ago. I found out why he liked it so much. There is something about seeing your rod tip go down and so exciting when you actually hook a fish. I now wonder why I waited so long to see the light!!We go every chance we get. We feel lucky to have found each other and tell each other I love you many times a day. It's the last thing we say at night and the first thing we say in the morning!! Dipnet: Us too, although not as long as you. Just had our 30th. Got married when I was 16 and he was 19. I read something someplace a bazillion years ago that said that men and women who told each other that they loved each other before they left in the morning had less accidents. Works for us!

42 You have a keeper. Just love her and remember you can never tell her enough.

Dipnet I am glad you and STGrule have found one of the secrets. Allways tell you'r partner how much you love them, and do it often.

We are up to 35 years this June. There may be others tied for 1st place, but none ahead. I really appreciate that Loraine likes to fish sometimes, and likes me to go other times. Talk about the best of both worlds! I am really blessed

My wife & I are going on 9 years and it just keeps getting better, I adore her and my Name for her is "Pretty", an apt description of a woman who will love me...even my 3 and 6 yr olds call her "Pretty" or Mom
