Well, if he can get the Vatican to sign off on it, it would pretty much make France and Germany look like putz's for not supporting us. Not that they don't already. Plus domestic support among U.S. Catholics who generally vote democrat. I think it was a good idea. The guy had a lot to say as well.

France doesn't need help to make them look like the arrogant dicks they are.
When we get into Iraq we'll find "Made in France" and "Made in Germany" on the WMD manufacturing equiptment and bunkers.

We know what the French and Germans are right now, but I think it would help their populations to see what they're being. Or not.
