Re: timothy/trillium lake
I heard on TV that NFD 42 was closed, but they said you could get in on NFD 57. You need check with the Forestry Services or someone that knows it's current status

I took a hike out in the woods and there isn't much snow left. You can find some patches where the sun doesn't hit at all, but its pretty much all melted.
Trillium was still closed when I drove by last night.

Re: timothy/trillium lake
Just spent the weekend camping at Timothy Lake. It seems to be clear all the way around the lake. The roads were completely clear, too. Apparently the roads were impassable for the first 2 stocking windows so it has only been stocked once, this past week.
I was trying to teach myself to fly fish and the only thing I caught was my own hand. I guess trout aren't attracted by slapping the water as hard as you can with a fly and cussing. Go figure.
