Reply on Ifish, not via email
I'd encourage folks to reply on Ifish vs. sending private emails.
The whole idea is sharing useful information.
It kind of defeats the purpose when folks take the conversation private or to email.
Some folks seem to think that they are bothering the board by replying to or asking questions. All the questions and answers are valuable.
The only dumb questions are the ones not asked.

Re: Reply on Ifish, not via email
I use the private message option to ask more info rather than post 4 or 5 times to get the pertinent questions. And with over 4000 members to date, not all wish to read, but, and, how, try, maybe...etc. during posting tag Message me..I'll share

If it were a perfect world....
But it's not and so sometimes one uses email to be discreet.

Certainly don't publicly post your SS No., mother's maiden name and ATM code but I've had questions/answers about Optimax engines and electrolysis show up on email.
These would be better posted on the message board in the original message thread as it is useful information/questions for everyone.

Re: Reply on Ifish, not via email
I encourage everyone to use common sense. How many times have you seen a post where someone says, "Check your e-mail"? If someone is logged on, they DID check their e-mail - probably before they found the message on this board.
Another issue ... this is NOT a fishing topic. Please continue this discussion on the Life in General board, where this thread will now be found.
