Default Billy Chinook in July?

Hey all, I'm trying to plan a family camping trip this summer, and get the boat out... any thoughts on Lake Billy Chinook in July?

The only thought I have is be prepared for a lot of wake boarders and speed boats. That being said there is plenty of water and lots of fish. I hope you have a great trip.

It's not that bad...the wakeboarders generally stay away. Personally, I love fishing it then! I also love tubing and boarding then!!! In fact, the main reason I will be flying 7K miles in July is to go to LBC. I will be there the week of the 26th, when will you be there?

We were just hanging in the sun and they came right down next to us...

We love getting out early, it's about 6am here (yes that is exactly what you think it is in the corner )

Hope to see you there!

What kind of fish can you catch there in July? I was planning on heading there this summer too. Probably my most favorite lake to spend time on in the summer. So ******** warm, love it.

Hey BalouSC, I'm working on finding a camping spot and arranging time off work, so my dates aren't firm yet... kids have been begging to go camping, and I'm open to any excuse to get the boat out and fish If I end up out there at the end of July, I'll make sure to let you know.

We generally fish for kokanee and occasionally bulls. Kokes are easy to come by!! Cheers!
