Columbia Chunk.
"BassNasty" and myself went out again this weekend to the stevenson areea, the bite seemed to have slowed a bit from the last time we were out there, water was dropped about a foot, putting some of the spots we were fishing out of the water. However, we did manage to pick up this really nice smallmouth on EBG's famous 3" senko set up... thanks EBG.

Re: Columbia Chunk.
I'm Glad you got it to them. Did you fish it wacky and did you use a small weight on the rig?
Great Job!
Thank you!

Is there a way I can get an illustration of that type of setup? I usually pull crankbaits or spinners. BTW- the background looks like Ash Lake.

Re: Columbia Chunk.
yeh we havent been picking up fish like we did last year in there, last year i went there and had a couple awesome days, the fish in the picture had a pretty beat up tail and her belly looked empty like she had already dropped her eggs, she also fought like a tired worn out spawner... rest assured she was place back in the water right after we snapped a pic.

Nooo they better not have all spawned while I was out of town!
Nice fish you got there by the way. Did you have the opportunity to weigh it?

my thoughts exactly when my buddy pulled the fish out of the water, im sure not all the fish have spawned, but she sure looked like she had no eggs in her and a battered bloody tail. No, didnt get a chance to weigh her either, i really need to invest in a good scale.
