Can someone clarify this for me...shouldnt the profits of the Oregon Lottery be going towards education in the state???

"From April 1985 through June 2002, more than $7.5 billion has been awarded in lottery winnings, and more than $3.1 billion has been transferred to the State Economic Development Fund."

What are we doing?!? EDF instead of Education? That's craziness. [img]graemlins/berry.gif[/img] I'm not buying a lottery ticket....well, not that I ever did, but now I really wont buy one!

Lottery...a tax on people who are bad at math.

I agree Cool Texan. There doesn't seem to be economic development going on. I think all of the lottery funds should go to the schools.
