Default Electronic Filing - any suggestions?

I've been using online Turbo Tax for the last few years without any problems. Now with the measure 28 thing, I get errors that it can't fix. Says the election results aren't in yet or something like that.

Any of you know of any good online programs to use for filing that supports mueasure 28 data for state returns?

Thanx again,
SN

Uhhhhh....measure 28 didn't pass, so there should be no errors, no changes for the tax year 2002?? Might want to contact your customer service.

I use Taxcut myself.

You know that and I know but online Turbo Tax doesn't, therefore it gives errors that it can't fix...

Think twice before Turbo Tax 2002...in order to use turbo tax you have to let them into your computer this year to access all info and files...they say to EXTRACT any and all info at their will. I bought it yesterday..and researched it today and there is no mention of this on the box....but it is on there info sheet on the internet...if you value your private info I would stongly use another brand such as H & R Tax Cut.

I've been using Taxact for several years with zero complaints.
They have an online version, if you didn't want to download the software.

I also use Turbo Tax and I am also getting the same error you are getting. If you read the part really close about the #28 thing, You will notice it sais Oregonians will not be able to E-file their state Taxes till Feb. 8th or 9th. This could be the reason why it is showing the error. I'm going to wait till then. I filed my fed. return with no problem.

I bought Tax Cut this year to save a little money over TurboTax. What a miserable product this is. If you have any questions about what they mean on certain items...and click for help...the pop up box just gives you the same question again.

I am buying TurboTax today and will file with it. So much for SAVING money. Oh well...I will NEVER use Tax Cut again.

Gotta love that Turbo Tax. Went through all the downloads and put in all the numbers and it said I get 140,000+ back. Since this is considerable more than I make I'm afraid to e-file it. Think I'll do it without the computer.
