Default travel agents?

I am planning on going to Europe this summer and want to know if anyone has any planning tips. I have been looking on-line and I am actually a little disappointed in what I am finding. Can anyone direct me to some key sites for locating tickets, bed and breakfasts, and rental cars other than Expedia, Hot wire ect.... Any travel agent recommendations?

Default Re: travel agents?

A good starting point is a travel book for the particular countries your going to...alot written by "Let's Go..." eg Lets Go Europe. I found that a recently published one is all you'll really need as they outline lodgings in every city you'd visit and provide all details like cost, location, numbers, and style. Europe's very easy to travel around for anyone on any budget. Good luck.

Unless you're a stickler for itineraries, I'd recommend going over with a very loose plan and an open mind.
