What a terrible thing to happen to such brave, commited people and thier families. my heart goes out to those who will suffer.

This hits close to home, as I was a recent graduate of Concord highschool in N.H. and had the op to meet Christa McCaluif as a student at the school prior to her death in the Challenger disaster.
The emotional impact on the community of well wishers and school children who all watched the challenger launch was heartbreaking.
And today I remember it all to vividly.
Yet another tragedy to remind us of how delicate life is in the face of human advancement.

A sad day indeed.
