Naselle provide great silver runs, chinook and chums from round mid sept through october. tide runs up to hi-way 4 bridge, catchin usually best on the flood for a short time, and at an hour or so before low and through low. Nemah is good, but most of it is privatly owned with no sharing. Pretty much the same scenario for fishing all these costals. But for a hoot and a holler, go do some Dog fishing. Eggs are the best for springers, and they fight like the dickens Good luck, have fun. See ya this fall. I got the sideways reel.

In response to your ? I think PIC-NIC Boats are from there, That may be the new boat builder. If you have seen Andy Bentners Red 28' Sled or Jody Mathers, or Kelly Shorts.

Default New boat builder in Ocean Park WA.

On "U" street not to far away from my cabin a new building went up this winter. I asked a local that I had servicing my well what the heck is going on with that building. He told me that an aluminum boat builder was going to be building new boats there. Anyone know who this might be and what they are going to build. I know I will eventually find out here pretty soon but thought perhaps someone here might know about it? Anyone?

Catch and Eat
We are building a cabin in ocean park now. And I was wondering what sort of runs are in the neselle and some of the other rivers that run into willapa bay. Are they primarily fall chinook and winter steelhead? They don't look like very big rivers.

SS, Have'nt got around to fishing those areas at this time. There are some folks on this board that do fish those rivers and could instruct you with actual knowledge. Perhaps you would be better served by PM through Born To Be Wild. I believe he has fished that area some. Sorry I'm not much help in that area for ya. I would suspect mainly fall nooks and coho for sure. Beyond that?????

Where you building at in OP? Hoggemin also has a place up there and I think there are a few other i-fishers with property in that area. I'm up near Joe Johns Rd on "U".

That is no problem. I am sure i will get out there and do my fair share of scouting this fall. I have never fished in the rivers there before but have fished the bay a time or two.

Our cabin is on K place near a park/beach access area. right now its just in the framing stage. it should be dried in soon. We split the work up and will be doing alot of it ourselves. It should be totally completed by this fall.
