Default 1962 3 HP and 1966 3.5 HP Sea King Fuel Mixture?

What is a good fuel mixture for my two Sea Kings?

Cool old motors! Back then I would bet they were running them with 16:1 or 20:1...COUGH< COUGH<>Hack... Back then i think you'd even just use standard non-detergent 30-w oil too. Oils since the '60s have been developed to do alot better job of lubricating. I would think that something like 32:1 would be safe with current TCW3 oils, 20:1 absolutly, especialy if you were only trolling or running at lower speeds. I would still try to talk to a pro, maybe Boat Doc could give you a for sure, or not.

Here is a pic of the motors, the one on the right is the 1962. They both cleaned up fairly well especially the 62. I want to get one running well for my 12' Jon Boat.
