Default Fishcraft cataraft help needed!!!

I bought a 2003 fishcraft cataraft and I wanted to buy a repair kit. Can anyone tell me what the pontoons are made of? (hypalon, pvc, or something else???)

Thanks so much for your input.

Tightlines,

Shane

I'm almost 100% sure it is a PVC material. I would just give fishcraft a call and ask them. you can get all the repair material and glue you need at Andy & Bax locate on Grand in Portland.

Fishcraft is no more. They went under about 6 months ago.

Andy and Bax can take care of you for sure. If for some reason they can't call Fly and Field Fly Shop in Bend and ask for Steve Light. He's a great guy and he used to be Fishcrafts product/sales manager. He knows their products inside and out and could give you lots of good info.

Didn't know about Fishcraft. Too bad.

I recommend contacting Judy at The River Connection. River Connection is in Portland and can be easily found through Google. They just completed repairing a 15" slash in my cataraft and did a fantastic job.

Shane, i was just talking to Steve Light who used to work for Fishcraft and told him about your question and he said the pontoons were made from PVC 2200
hope that helps.

Alder Creek in Bend has a pretty good selection of inflatable repair stuff. They had everything I needed for my Hypalon boat. Not sure about PVC. They are in the red buildings near the Colorado street bridge in Bend.
