Where's the best place in P town (or around) to buy replacement pads backing plate kit for surge drum brakes. I found them online for about 112 per axle for galv plate and SS parts. I was wondering if there's a place around so I can just go get them for about the same price and not have to pay for shipping. Not to mention supporting our local eco.

The place that seems to have most of the stuff I ever needed was Six Robblees Inc. Axles, Backing plates, pads, etc.Give them a try. There are in Milwaukie Or, just off I 205. Good luck.
