Default McCoy's Mean Green

I was wondering if anyone out there besides me has used McCoy's Mean Green fishing lines. I used it when I lived at the coast and had great success with it. Until recently I hadn't been able to find it but found some and now will go back to using it.

Any thoughts? Good? Bad?

Thanks,
Curious Bob

Default Re: McCoy's Mean Green

Saw some recently in Cabelas Salmon & Steelie catalog....its still around.

Mean green is great stuff...my guide buddies up in Sitka swear by the stuff. It has something on it that makes it slick and therefore makes knot tying (hook tying) really easy.
