How thick is it? Steel or aluminum? If it's alluminum a circular saw with a carbide blade works. Cut on the flat side.

Skil saw with carbide tipped teeth works great. A table saw or compound miter saw with the same blade, carbide tipped teeth. Wear safety glasses, aluminum goes everywhere. BOE showed me this, it does work. No harm to the saw either.

I have cut quite a bit of it on my table saw with carbide tipped blade. It is very loud, and does throw HOT shavings. I like to wear a full face shield and long sleeve shirt as those little pieces of aluminum are hot when they hit you.

Skill saw works well also.

Thanks all for the replies! I'll give it a go. Who knows maybe the money I save on doing the floor myself I can spend in medical bills??

Make cardboard templates before you cut the aluminum.
