Default Even the fish are frozen! (pic)

Nobody said they were real fish!

Not much wind chiming in West Linn...

Maxine the wonder dog doesn't seem to mind though.

The 'sicles are about a foot and a half and still growing!

Thats cold. Did you see the sandy? I saw it on the news and almost the whole river was frozen over. Just a small channel with big chunks of ice coming down all the time.

Hogmassa,
I sure love your house. Having the Willamette in the backyard and rock throwing distance from the
Clack, is too cool. You can't talk the individual into letting you keep it?

That is So pretty! I love the little leaf designs you can get when you take the ice off of a leaf!

You can see the veins and everything.

I know it's a hassle, and it's dangerous, but I do think it's SO pretty!

My sister was just telling me today that when she lived in Alaska one of the most common injurys was people getting hit by falling icicles that could be over a foot thick and several feet long, that and ice falling from power lines and other things. This has been quite the ice storm.

Here's another ice safety tip:
If you're standing on the bank and all of a sudden you hear a 'snnnnnnnnnnnaap' and lots of little ice pieces fall all around you...move away very quickly! . The large branch hit the water right where I had been standing.Guess the tree thought it owned that hole... I packed up my stuff and left.
