Sorry to bring back a sad memory for ya, GSA. :depressed: But it sure would be fun to see a launch like this one, eh? Looks like the tires can't come close to keeping up with the catapult!

It looks like a wild '64 Ford Falcon

That's the USS Enterprise CVAN-65, "the big E", a ship that I saw a lot of when it was new (my ship was the big E's escort for many weeks & months in Westpac back in '68). Once night an A-6 Intruder went off the bow catapult just like that car, flamed out about where the car is, and fell in front of the ship and was run over. We searched all night but the 2-man crew apparently went down with their plane :depressed: .
