This can potentially affect all of us since we usually know someone who is on state assistance (medicaid, medicare)
I want to let all of you know about a division of the state Dept of Justice I work in that
can help all of us Oregonians save taxpayer money. I work for the Medicaid Fraud Division of the ODOJ. We handle cases of fraud and abuse/neglect of the elderly and dependant folks that utilize the Medicaid/Medicare resources in Oregon. We are required to investigate all referrals sent to us and determine if transgressions have occurred. We can and do take cases to court and defendants can receive jail time, fines, repayment, and exclusion from being a provider.
