Default Laurance Lake report

drove up today, not to fish but let the dogs run, and thought I'd report that the road to the dam is clear but from the bridge on is still snowed in. Cool day though, if you like torrential downpours. But that didn't keep the locals away, around 3ish 2 cars showed up to fish. Next time I might drown a worm (just kidding )

Laurance Lake has already been stocked and should be pretty decent fishing. Please report any bait fishermen or at least let them know the regulations of no bait. Good luck and tight lines.

The lake was ice free early last week. The road to the campground should be open by now but not sure what there for camping spots.

I haven't fished Laurance for years after having some less than honorable folks ruin a days fishing.

That being said, I would like to get out for the day and take the son fishing. Can I launch a driftboat on the lake and can you use an electric motor?

Thanks,

DH

not 100%, but I think motors are prohibited. I've seen lots of DB's and no motors.
