Default New Ifisher

Seems it's customary to introduce yourself around here. So this is it: I moved here (Gresham area) for school last fall from southern Idaho. I figured the bass and panfish section was the best place to do this since that's mostly what I chase, but I'll fish for pretty much anything that swims. This site is an awesome resource for trying to learn about the opportunities available in the area. Thanks for all the great posts.
Cheers!

Welcome Travman. This is a good site and most people are very helpfull. Where in Idaho you from. I used to live in pocatello and still have lots of family there and Boise. Whats your poision Smallies or LG mouth? Either way lots of good choices up in your neck of the woods.

Lunker, thanks for the welcome, I'm from the Burley area (southern ID right on the Snake River) but spent the last 4 years in Pocatello attending ISU. I've always been a sucker for those pig snake river smallies but I wouldn't think twice about chasing bigmouths, just haven't had as much experience with them.

Welcome Travman, I am sure that there be open sits that you can fill, but you might want to tell people the time that you have off it might help. Also, the Johnday river is not to far for us people that live out that way, Gresham that is.

Hey trav. I was out in AF for four years and fished Milner routinely as well as the AF Reservoir and Snake below that. Let's fish and share war stories.
