Lake Tahoe 5/1

My son and I took the drive up into the Trask mountains on Friday to fish Lake Tahoe. The weather was great but a little windy. The fish did not seem to mind the wind. They were jumping all around the lake. We decided to try a small bead head nymph behind a float. WHAT A BLAST!!! We had takes on almost every cast for 4 1/2 hours. We released all the fish unharmed. It was a great day for father and son.

P.S. I caught more fish than the kid. But not by much. (He is almost 18 and not much of a kid anymore.) Got to take every advantage of fishing with him now as he will be moving away after high school.

Sounds like a fun time George! I've never heard of that lake before(around here!) That's the kind of fishing that will spoil ya!
