Road to LBC

How's the road getting to LBC from Santiam HWY how rough is it, is it pretty well marked or should I try going out from LBC to the highway and does it save any time going that way. Thanks KK

Are you talking about Indian Ford rd? The gravel road for about 40 minutes?

I've traveled both ways this year and really prefer the Indian Ford route. From Jefferson it's 45 miles longer by way of Culver and it took quite a bit longer to get to Perry South. The road is clearly marked, starting on road #11 and merging into #1107. It's a little wash-boardy in places but not all that bad as far as gravel roads go. They were re-grading it right after the kokefest. There's some beautiful scenery and outstanding views of the Cascades along the way so be sure to take a camera!

I drove Indian Ford two weeks ago. Wasn't too bad. You'll be jussst fine in a truck/suv.
