Odell openig weekend
We started out opening morning for a couple of hours without a strike until we got into my first Mack double.
Then we knew where they were. We ended up catching 6 before 10:15 AM with 5 at or over 30". I didn't get a picture of the big boy because my batteries were dead in my camera, But here's a picture of the second biggest.
The wind was terrible so we called it a day. Sunday was way nicer but the fishing was back to normal and we only managed 2 fish. Here's a picture of one.
All in all it was my best opening weekend ever. Can't wait to go back.

The good part about the camera batteries going dead is that "big" boy can "grow" now. 
Can't wait to get out there, maybe this Friday. We need to hook up again Bret. 
Did you hear any more about the boat that sank on Saturday?

Very nice Guy's, thanks for the report.  Any reports of Kokanee while you were there?, We were thinking of stopping on our way back from Owyhee in a week or so.

The only thing I know about the boat that sank was that it was on the east end on the rocks and when they hooked a rope to the transom to pull him back the waves sank him. The biologist I talked to said it was new and about a 19 footer. Bummer! By the time I finshed my nap and drove down there it was gone.

Saturday was really slow for kokanee but it picked up Sunday. One guy had 19. The biologist said they were fat approx.10" fish.
