FOOTBALL!!!! :depressed: Why weren't you out fishing?

I'm thinking about coming over and try to catch a steelhead or two mid week. The river doesn't look too high, is it muddy yet?

Disappointing but that's the way the football fumbles sometime. I guess I can still root for the North West teams against the southern ones. It was nice to see my Alma Mater upset Arizona State though!

Keta,

I know, I know...... it was a tough decision but the wind and rain make it easier to stay in by the fire....... getting old ya know. Also been nursing a tweaked back for a week....

Funny you should bring up coming over. I have been thinking we need to get together for a dueling corkies day. I might be able to swing Thursday if you are interested.

The river is up to 1.77 in todays paper and only 3 parts turbidity.... looking good. My creek is running well but just today started to show a hint of color. The ground is soaking this up like a sponge but the 4.4 inches we got the last few days will soon saturate things so some color might start showing in the river if it keeps raining this hard for the next few days. Haven't seen the forcast long range but we should be in good shape all week from what I see now.

Oh, by the way, only college or highschool football........ I'm not completly 'soiled'!
