Your musical choice?
Feeling a bit weird, so lets just ask our members:
What is your favorite genre of music?
Rock-n-roll?
Oldies?
Country?
Jazz?
Rap? (Sheesh!)
Bluegrass?
Classical?
Of your choice, who is your favoirite musician or band?
The list goes on and on...
--spud--

Re: Your musical choice?
Just about anything as long as it is not country.
I really cut my teeth on Judas Priest, Rush, Styx, Iron Maiden, Scorpions Etc. Etc. But now I mainly listen to a wide variety of Christian bands that are out there. Some progressive rock, some Ska, some folky rock. I like just about everything.

Re: Your musical choice?
I like most all kinds of music...... my favorite seems to be dictated by my mood at the moment.
Growing up in the '60's and having a keen interest in music my whole life has given me a very large spectrum of musical 'heros'.
In my disc wallet in the pickup right now are:
Eric Clapton, John Prine, Todd Snider, Beatles, Doc Watson, Steve Miller Band, Amazing Rythm Aces, Elton John, Merle Haggard and Glen Miller and his Orchestra.

Re: Your musical choice?
The music of a singing reel drag. THAT'S the music that I love.
Oh, and my teen years were in the 80's so that'll give you a good idea of other musics that I may like.

Re: Your musical choice?
Disco? While I'll partake in the occasional ABBA, I generally don't do much with disco. When I refer to 80's music I range from Crüe to `Til Tuesday to U2 to Queensr˙che. Mostly depends on the time of year, the mood, whatever. Of course, I've also found myself fascinated by watching an OPB special on bluegrass, listen to "Performance Today" occasionally (classical), and enjoy Celtic music.
How's that for a range? Just don't make me listen to KWJJ or KUPL.

Re: Your musical choice?
I think there needs to be a band madeup of ifish members. Having no musical talent myself I can only lend the name. "The Jamm'n Salmon Rod Bend'n Band" they could cover such greats as: I'm trolling my life away, 5 lb Bass, Ghost fishers in the sky, picking up snaggers, and many more.

Seeing that you have yet to post your musical tastes, I warn you that if you do post something that you do so very carefully. I have a sharp wit and will be waiting in the shadows.
Obviously you have not experienced the joy of walking over one of those big, windy grates in a kilt. Not quite Marilyn Monroe, but not entirely a bad thing either.

Re: Your musical choice?
My musical tastes range far and wide, although I pretty much steer clear of country and classical.
Tonite I was playing old LP's (that's analog signal for you young & pierced digital babies)
and it went...
Blue Oyster Cult, King Crimson, the earliest Jethro Tull, Yes, Neil Young live.
Last cd bought was Widespread Panic.
(Thanks *** for that post, I always wondered what Eminem looked like without the rap beenie pulled down. Is that an outtake still from his new movie 8-Mile?)

My musical tastes change when I go fishing or camping. For some reason country appeals to me in the great outdoors.

Last three CD's in my truck were Queensryche: Operation Mindcrime, The Cult: High Octane Cult, Alice In Chains:Greatest Hits. I occasionally have some Nugent, Hendrix, VH, Hanoi Rocks and Ratt. A product of the mid 80's that hasn't grown up and you can't make me

Re: Your musical choice?
My favorite genre doesn't have a name, as such. Its the music heard on KINK FM-102 from Portland. Its been my favorite radio station since 1969 and is still #1. Even though I'm over 100 miles south of Ptld I can hear KINK because I live on a ridgetop.

Hey Rogue Effer, don't forget Air Supply, Barry Manilow, and The Little River Band.
High concentrations of polyester may be hazardous to your health...........and sanity.
U2, Concrete Blonde, Pretenders, INXS, B.O.C.,
Judas Priest, Stones, old Elton John, and of course The Who get my vote.
The Bay City Rollers?!?!?!?!? What dark, evil, twisted and malignant corner of your mind produced that?
