good luck, i never fish the opener most lakes are snowed in still around here at least the ones i fish, plan on a trip to diamond lake this year, 1 to magone lake in ne oregon taking my son along, and will do some more fishing in the ht hood lakes with the family.

I have been stoked for about a month now. Going to Odell for the opener to try to catch a Mack. Then for the next month or so hope to fish East, Paulina, Wickiup, Crescent, and Odell again. So many lakes and so little time. I got to get packing! Can't wait!

Good luck at Odell on saturday. i was hoping to go to Bimart tonight and restock my tacklebox for the big weekend but i have to pull a all nighter at the hospital.

Setting the alarm for 3:00am and getting my bride

and two boys up to head for a day of jigging browns at Lemola Lake!!!

Would like to camp for the whole weekend but can't burn the family out too soon. Will be fishing hard for Kokanee after this trip and I'll squeeze in a couple of Diamond Lake trips also.

Two of the grandson's called last night their ready to go now, "WAY do we have to weight, tomorrow is a good day to fish". I had to agree am taking them out after school.
