Default Detroit & Suttle Observations 4/18

Drove over Santiam Pass today to attend a conference in Bend. Glancing out the window I noticed that Detroit is filling rapidly. The Hoover ramp is usable. NOTE: That said, I don't know if it is accessible from the road. I simply saw that the bottom of the ramp is under water. I saw three boats on Detroit.

Blew past Suttle about 7:45ish AM. Noted a handful of boats at the west end, and my passengers counted 23 boats at the east end, more or less clustered towards the lake corner closest to the highway.

For future planning purposes, at 3000 feet it appeared that there was about 2 - 3 feet of snow remaining. At 2000 feet, most snow is gone from the area visible from the highway.
