Default Class good, Fishing bad

Well, I really enjoyed the Kokanee class at Suttle Lodge. Nice to meet some people and put some faces with the monikers.

The fishing, not so good. We only had one fish to the boat and it wasn't even mine. Kokonuts got a brown trout.

Tell us more. Your one fish may be the first koke out of suttle this year. I went to the Friday night class. Most all of fished all day on Friday and as near as I could tell nobody even got a bite from a koke. Saturday morning was the same story, but I did notice fish moving to look at the ball and flashers more than they did on Friday.

When did your boat make it's catch? What size was it? How did you catch it? Most of all, what was the lake temp and did you get it on Sat or Sun?

You misunderstood my report. Kokonuts got one brown trout, no Kokanee. However I just read another thread and somebody got some little ones.

I was there for the Friday night class....man!!!, there is so much to learn. But, we did decide Sat. morning to be "jiggers".....first thing in the morning using aufish's new jig...I landed a 24" brown....about an hour later my buddy finally hooks and we land our first kokanee ever!!....I really appreciated the knowledge that was shared from that class!
