Launching @ Crescent Lake

First of all, the public launch opened today. That said, my next point might be "pointless" for now, but I feel the need to say it anyway. The owners of the resort are not far from CLOSING their beach for launching FOR GOOD. This is mainly due to people not paying their nominal fee for using their property to access the lake. There is also some degree of fishermen parking their rigs and trailers disrespectfully. I don't blame them at all for being fed up. They are great people and really supportive of those fishermen who pay them due respect. I love fishing Crescent in the winter months and would be so disappointed to loose the option due to disrespectful anglers.

To bad a few inconsiderate holes have to mess up a great thing. Certainly can’t blame the owners for locking the gate. Maybe some day we will find a way to hold people accountable for their actions. If these punks are not paying the ramp fee that would be considered theft wouldn’t it? The local sheriff might want to get involved and do a little revenue enhancing.
