Default Friday Deschutes report

Trout rising to hatching caddis -- Mother's Day caddis? -- and some March Brown mayflies. Wonderful day -- great weather -- and I suspect this river may really percolate this weekend.
More on my blog....

I fished/floated Maupin to sandy beach on Thursday and had some success on top as well. Fished march brown comparadon with emerger trailer. Had more success underwater though with a brown rubber leg stone and bhp and bhpt. The weather was awesome and like you said this weekend an early next week should make it even better.

btw - your website/blog is cool!

AndyK -- Thanks for the heads up....

XQB -- Thanks for the info -- and for liking my blog! I almost tied on a brown rubber-legged stone, but never got around to it.... Will try it this weekend or next week....

This time of year a good stone fly nymph with a 14-16 size bead head hares ear trialer tied about 20" back is DEADLY!

Nice blog.

Would like to make one suggestion though, you should reciprocate the love by putting a link to Ifish on your "Favorite Fishing Links".
