G I Joes Sturgeon Derby Confirmations???

Hey I signed up for the Sturgeon Derby and there are suppose to be confirmation letters sent out to each team. Our fearless team leader says we have not recieved ours yet. How about ifishers that are participating, did you get yours?????

My understanding is that he is out of town and his daughter is running the deal. As you know he accepted a coaching position so his daughter is running the gig. I have a feeling that we are gonna get screwed on startup time.

I am registered for the derby and have not recieved any confirmaton yet. But today at 2:30 Stan finally responded to my 2 mesages and he told me my paperwork is on the way and if I did not get it soon to call his house and talk to his daughter who is doing most of the work for the derby this year. Email me and I will give you his home phone.

I am team 99 and just got mine last Friday. A buddy of mine was team 87 or 88 and got his the week before. So it looks like the later you register, the later you get your packet.

Well we registered long ago and found out from a phone call that we are team #139. [img]graemlins/berry.gif[/img] Something is amiss here. Oh well, we will still have fun anyways.

Called today to find out why we haven't received our confirmation and was informed that Stan Brock was currently at Annapolis working with the Army football team. Had no idea where the Captain's meeting was, team number, flight number, launch point, etc. [img]graemlins/1zhelp.gif[/img] Needless to say, I was a little upset that they had $225 of ours and we had nothing to go on.

The lady I talked to, Judy, was very courteous and got back within 15 minutes with basic information and informed that our packet would be at the Captain's meeting if we didn't get it sooner!! :smile: Appeased, I walked down to get the mail, guess what was in the mail box???? Yep, team #118, flight 2, launching out of PortCo!! Talk about perfect timing!! Looking forward to meeting a lot of you at the Captain's meeting and seeing you on the river!!

Team 35 is ready for the Gators. I went to GI Joes the day after I rec. my invitation and have had my team number for at least 2 weeks. Good luck guys/gals hope to meet ya on the river.

Talked to Stan yesterday they are still sending confirmation letters out, you will recieve it. As far as what team number you recieved it goes off the sale receipt by date and time you signed up. That includes all the stores. The dates and times are on the invitation letter. The captions meeting is at 6:30 March 5th at the expo center.
