Default Pontoon on the Columbia River ( photos :-)

This earlier month I took a trip up the columbia River once again. The river was still too cold (41 deg) but I had fun scouting around that part of the river. Never thought I would be in a pontoon boat out on the big river, but it was not bad :-). Hope the river warms fast!
Roger

That view makes me want to set the rod down for a bit and strap on the wakeboard!

Roger, whats the deal.....you haven't been hitting it?
Normally by this time we've seen multiple Hagg posts. Not to mention the Rvr fish.
Hope all is well on your end.

Ya only got out a couple times this year. I hope I can make some time to fish next week. As you can see no wind and almost no current on that spot. I had to take her (my toon) out in the middle for a try. How many can say they were out in the middle of the columbia River on a pontoon boat. That was a great day to pull that stunt off. Luckly no barges can by:-) I am planning some floats of the willy and short drifts of the Columbia but not out in the currnet or wind. I have done more scouting this winter than ever before! and I am finding new water every trip this winter. I made lots of new contact with the locals and they are going to show me some of there spots and I will share some of mine. a couple months ago I was driving thru Hood River and looking over a back water spot and two guys stopped me and said are you Roger The ExBassGuide?
they saw my YouTube videos and were going to contact me on Ifish and ask a couple question. They were super nice and real fishermen (diehard).
I told them they needed to get Washington fishing licences too and open up 100% more fishing spots for them. Living next to the Columbia River why restrict yourself to only part of the river!

Roger
