Default Head injury

I was struck by a tree limb yesterday, the limb came from 60 feet up. I am in the tree care business and the friend / subcontractor that works with me got a little ahead of himself and was not fallowing the warning protocol.
The limb cracked my helmet and knocked me to the ground where I banged my forehead on the side walk. Cat scan did not reveal anything bad, so I ended up getting 8 staples and have some abrasions on my forehead. My shoulders and neck are also real sore today.

I am praising the Lord for his protection, He is our Great Protector and Provider, showing Mercy and Grace every day. Praise our Mighty God.

Smart man. You wore your helmet. Very glad you are here to tell us about the bad thing that happened yesterday.

Thank you all for the prayer and well wishes. I have not felt so good the last 2 days, a little disoriented and sore in several places, other than my head. I guess I hit the ground harder than I realized. I am being watched by my wife closely and resting.
I would like prayer for my friend that cut and dropped the limb that struck me. He definitely feels bad about the incident, I just don't want him to take the guilt to far. He is a great person to work with and until now we have had no accidents. His name is Jason.

Thank you all again,
Dylan

After reading the original post wouldn't it be proper to call him staple? I agree the good Lord was watching out for one of his fisherman, glad your on the mend. Must have some brains he had his helmet on. Take your time and be sure your all OK before you push yourself back to work and our prayers will be with you and your work partner.
