I was looking for something a little different for a salmon filet last night and stumbled onto this recipe from Prevention Magazine. It was not only
really tasty, but easy to make and healthy too. I usually follow recipes pretty closely the first time through, and then tweak them to suit my tastes after that, but this one is perfect the way it is, even though it sounds like it could use more hot sauce.
Puree the following in a food processor, until smooth, scraping down the bowl occasionally.
1/2 of a large avacado
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tbs mayonaisse
1 tsp lemon juice
1 clove of minced garlic
1/4 tsp worchestershire sauce
1/4 tsp hot sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Put a dollop on your plate next to your salmon and enjoy.
The recipe said to broil the salmon, but I think it would be good with any method. I grilled mine last night and it went with it really well.
