Default LBC Fish Tower "breaks"

The $100 million fish tower that was supposed to re-introduce the king and steelhead runs broke last week just as it was nearing completion. A 2 year project that had a "questionable" chance of even working is now toast.

That's a major bummer. Looks like at least a 4 month delay for completion according to the article. It won't help this years migrants but at least they have the alternative of using traps to collect some of them to truck below the dam.

It's still a bummer though.

Thanks for the post. I have a buddy that works for PGE and has been on that project for quite a while now as an electrical engineer. I am sure he is ticked that he will have to be there for a while longer. (He isn't a fisherman)
