Default 87 baker bass boat

posted a similar thread over in the boat and motor tech area but figured I would post her too. just bought a 20 foot 87' baker bassboat. it has a crazy looking hull. I believe its called a tunnel hull. the little bit of info says they are fast boats. anyhow...just wondering if anyone has any info. thanks. here are a few pics.

Tunnel hulls are faster due to less water/hull contact. You can check out some jet boat sites to learn more about it. Eliminator is one of the leaders in tunnel hulls.

I don't know anything about Baker boats but the main purpose of a tunnel hull in a jet boat, in or outboard is to raise the intake for the pump which protects it and reduces the boat's draft which allows it to run shallower as well as shortening the time to plane.

Not to mention the turns and cuts ! .. but be mindfull, they wont slide and will catch an edge and toss you out in rougher water.

Thats a sweet looking boat . and look at all the deck you can put on it ..

Whats the max Hp?
