Sandy Report

Was a beautiful day on the Sandy today. River is running clear - perfect color in the deep runs. I gave it the old college try - trying some more of the flies from the fly swap. Lost my Callabero to a rock. I mainly fished deeper slots in tight to the bank - though I did have a shot at the plunkers hole as they had all cleared out by 1:30 p.m.

Didn't touch a fish today. Gave it my all - that good old tired feeling that will make the next one just feel that much better.

Saw one lost on gear - heard of another native released.
