Question Yamaha 225 four stroke zinc replacement

Good morning everyone.

Just wondering if any of you have ever done this before.

I have a 2005 Yamaha 225 four stroke engine that I want to replace the zincs in the heads as a maintenance item this year.

I have the zincs and the seals and am wondering what special tools or procedures I may need to do this job.

Anything else I should be looking at when doing this job?

Any tips will appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

WD.

I have been looking at the Yamaha web page. in the parts pages.
if you take a look at the 225 engine daigram it shows you where they are
and from that you can figure out how hard it will be to replace them...
Good luck.
